Which vehicles each centre tests
Not every centre tests every vehicle. DVSA approves each centre for one or more MOT classes; choose your vehicle when you search to see only the centres that can test it.
- Cars and small vans · class 4
- Cars, taxis, motor caravans, vans up to 3,000kg and passenger vehicles with up to 12 passenger seats
- Large vans (3 to 3.5 tonnes) · class 7
- Goods vehicles over 3,000kg and up to 3,500kg
- Motorbikes over 200cc · class 2
- Motorcycles over 200cc, with or without a sidecar
- Motorbikes up to 200cc · class 1
- Motorcycles up to 200cc, with or without a sidecar
- Minibuses (13+ seats) · class 5
- Passenger vehicles and ambulances with 13 or more passenger seats
- Three-wheelers · class 3
- 3-wheeled vehicles up to 450kg unladen
